TOKIO KAFE, Cyberjaya - Yummy cakes and cheesed-baked rice!

  And there you were, wondering what to get for lunch, or dinner perhaps, right in the middle of Cyberjaya (The Intelligent City). Wondering about streets monopolized by the wrath of Mamak stalls, then there it was, Tokio Kafe.

  Making its début recently in Prima Avenue, it has so far never failed in reeling in hungry customers, longing to have an exquisite taste of the famous cheese-baked rice or a bite of one of the vast variety of cakes there. Right beside next to old-town, Tokio Kafe has one of the best interiors of the many restaurants in Cyberjaya. With  an open air or an air-conditioned dining place to pick from, matched up with beautiful dinning lights and cozy seats, this place has really caught the eyes of many.

  Now on the menu.... Well, they certainly have a variety of food to choose from, ranging from Japanese to Western foods. But here, the cheese-baked rice has certainly earn its fame and stars in the menu there. There is the mouth-watering Cheesed-baked Tomato Rice with Chicken. The cheese is certainly up to its standards, not to heavy and not to light either. It is a haven for cheese-lovers and even for people who are not really fond of cheese like mii, there is certainly nothing to lose to give it a try. The chicken meat is tender, succulent and never over-cooked. With melting cheese trickling all over it, it is a MUST TRY on the menu. 

You could also get it in Pesto Rice for a change of taste, and this in my personal opinion, has won over the hearts of my taste-buds (not that they have any hearts though). Mixed with spices and herbs, Cheesed-baked Pesto Rice with Chicken is my all time favourite!

  Apart from that, by topping up another RM2, you could get an even better treat -- Cheesed-baked Tomato Rice with Seafood. In which also available in Pesto Rice, this is really a treat for seafood-lovers! Oysters, big prawns and fried squid, mixed together in hot-melting, buttery cheese, it does makes you go mad about everything on you plate.

  Not to forget the cakes, the cakes sold here are fresh and every bite signifies luxury. On the table would be the rich-filled chocolate cake and also the cheese cake. To be honest, the cheese-cake is a little too dry though and lacks the cheesy taste it is suppose to have. But do give a try on the other flavours there, one of them is surely to catch you heart.

  Overall, it's a very nice place to hang out with nice food served about. The environment was very convincing, very relaxing and the service was fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable as well, given the quality of the food being served. A little tip though, it is better to hang out there at night when the lights are on, making it a really romantic dinner place for two. It's cooler too by the way at night and for mii, it really is one of the best dinning places to be at in Cyberjaya.
